DIMITRA KARANTASI
CIVIL ENGINEER
Born in Piraeus in 1973, Dimitra graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace. In collaboration with Giorgos, they created their firm Civil Design Group. Having been awarded for her performance during her studies, her contribution in the office is vital for making significant decisions and designing buildings and residential homes. She started her career working at Koivikko Engineering Ltd in Finland. She also used to work for Nikos Tsalouchides, and finally for John Tsopanakis’ office – Ypsilon Ltd, – before opening her office with Giorgos. She is responsible for architectural design according to the planning regulations. She feels that her workplace is her home, and this makes her a dedicated designer ready to bring the best results in whatever she undertakes.
